Evan Rail's Dateline NBC-style exposé/price breakdown of the cost of a beer at Porto Cafe in Ruzyne's Terminal 2 airport can be found here. Terminal 1 has a similar situation with their officially branded Pilsner Urquell cafe by security; not only is a half-liter of PU 150 Kc, but a shot of Becherovka is 120 Kc. Oh, and you can't run a tab, so you get to relive the price gouging through each round of drinks.
On the plus side, when I was parked in the bar last month, a man sat next to me with his family who spoke textbook Czech to his wife. Then, he turned to his children and out came a pitch perfect, Michael-Caine-in-Alfie cockney accent. I doubt that's worth a 150% price hike, though.
