Looks like the Sheraton brand is in for a refresh; Starwood plans to close about 30 of the properties that don't fit with the new concept of the brand or just won't pay for the updates. Which is cause for concern. No one likes a crummy hotel room, but what of the Tudor styling of the Sheraton Framingham?

Or the equally amazing Sheraton Anaheim?

I think it's fair to call them institutions. Never been in them, but the Framingham location is a like a bit of Merry Olde Enlgland off I-90. [via Landsel]
