Check your local listings, but upcoming this week on PBS, I am pretty sure, is one of the best documentaries of all time: Sandwiches You Will Like. (Also available for purchase, natch).
It's an hour or so of delicious sandwiches from across this great nation, from Buffalo to Louisville, with some West Coast examples too. Each 'which segment has plenty of video showing how they are made, a history of their inception, and customers talking about how good they taste. It's the kind of show that makes me hope that PBS never disappears, since the show is to, um, food wonky to ever be on the Food Network. Yeah, I said it. Bam!
