From the Times of London, the first review of what it's like at the Dubai Indoor Ski Slope. Sounds underwhelming. It's a cool idea, unless you like skiing, in which case it's not the best slope in the world. Also, there are other man-made indoor slopes, most of them in Europe.
What I'm waiting for is the climate controlled OUTDOOR beach, sponsored by Versace, that is meant to be built in Dubai. That's worth checking out. How are they going to regulate the temperature from 120F to 75F outside?
